With the development of science and
technology, the increase of electrical appliances, batteries are also playing a
more and more important role in our life. Flashlights, mobile phones,
electronic scales, remote controls and so on... They all use batteries. There
are so many different kinds of batteries that different appliances use to do
their job.
Today we are going to introduce you to some common battery types.
Firstly, carbon zinc battery. The battery is also called a dry cell because its chemical power source has an electrolyte that is a non-flowing paste. Carbon zinc batteries have the characteristics of low price and reliable use, and there are many types and prices to choose from. It is mainly used for electrical appliances with low power consumption, such as clocks and watches, wireless mouse, etc. Relatively high-current devices such as semiconductor radio, flashlight, etc., also need to use carbon zinc batteries. Common products include D battery, C battery, AA battery, AAA battery, and button cell.
Secondly, alkaline battery. Alkaline battery, also known as alkaline dry battery, is the best performance of zinc - manganese battery series. Alkaline batteries are suitable for large discharge and longtime use. The battery is mercury-free and does not require recycling. The battery has the characteristics of large capacity, durability and high current. Its output is stable, so it is used in remote control, electronic camera, toy racing car and other equipment that consumes more electricity. Common products include D battery, C battery, AA battery, AAA battery, and button cell.
Thirdly, nickel
metal hydride batteries. Nickel metal hydride battery is a kind of battery with
good performance. Nickel-metal hydride batteries are divided into high pressure
nickel-metal hydride batteries and low pressure nickel-metal hydride batteries.
Compared with nickel-cadmium battery, the disadvantage of nickel-metal hydride
battery is that it cannot discharge with large current. Advantages lie in the
same volume, nickel-metal hydride battery capacity is much higher than
nickel-cadmium battery, and the memory effect is small and clean. Nickel-metal
hydride batteries should not be overcharged during use to avoid electrolyte
deterioration. Nickel-metal hydride batteries should be stored after full
charge. Common products include D battery, C battery, AA battery, AAA
battery, button cell and other non-standard types.
Fourthly, lithium-ion batteries. Lithium-ion batteries are rechargeable batteries that rely on lithium ions moving between positive and negative values. The lithium-ion battery case has steel case and aluminum case, aluminum case capacity is 10 to 15 percent higher than steel case. Advantages: small size, high capacity, high voltage. The shape is cylindrical, square, shaped. Commonly used for cell phone batteries, PDA batteries, laptop batteries.
Fifthly, lithium rechargeable battery. Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries are more durable than normal nickel-metal hydride batteries and can be recharged more than 1,000 times. It can achieve 2H full charge, and the power can reach 2775mWh,1.5V constant voltage. It is often used in repeated used electrical appliances, such as high-consumption electric toys and electrical appliances that need constant battery change. Common products are lithium rechargeable AA batteries, lithium rechargeable AAA batteries, etc.
